Your words.
Your documents.

This policy covers the DuoEdit app and this support website. DuoEdit is developed by Raymond Delsol.

Your documents

DuoEdit processes your documents on your device. It does not send your document contents to the developer or to a developer-operated server.

Files and cloud storage

You choose which files to open through the system Files picker. If you use iCloud Drive or another file provider, that provider stores and synchronises the files according to its own settings and privacy policy. Sharing or exporting a document sends it to the destination you choose.

Local settings

The app stores preferences and references to recently used files on your device so it can restore your choices and access files you have selected. These are not transmitted to the developer by the app.

Analytics and advertising

DuoEdit does not contain advertising, tracking or third-party analytics SDKs. No DuoEdit account is required.

Apple services

Apple handles App Store purchases, downloads, backups and any diagnostics you choose to share through Apple services under Apple's policies. TestFlight feedback and diagnostics are governed by Apple's TestFlight terms and privacy information.

Support

If you contact accounts@dockersinn.co.uk, the developer receives the information you choose to include, such as your email address, issue description and attachments, and uses it to respond to and resolve your enquiry. Do not include confidential document contents unless needed for your support request.

Your choices

You control where you save documents and whom you share them with. You can delete documents through DuoEdit or Files. Files saved with a cloud provider may also exist on other devices or in that provider's recently deleted area. Contact the support address above about information you supplied in a support enquiry.

This website

This website uses no advertising cookies, analytics scripts, contact forms or external fonts. Opening a page sends ordinary connection information, such as your IP address, requested page, time and browser information, to the hosting infrastructure. The reverse proxy may record request and error information for security and troubleshooting. This is separate from the app, which does not send document content to this website.

Hosting and support information

The website is hosted on the developer’s SE1 server with IONOS in the United States. Hosting and email providers process information needed to deliver their services. Support correspondence and operational records may also be included in system backups. Information is used to answer enquiries and operate a reliable, secure service, not for advertising.

Support information is kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any related follow-up or legal obligation. You can ask for deletion using the contact address above; backup copies may remain until their normal rotation completes.

Your rights

You can contact the developer to request access, correction or deletion of personal information you have supplied, or to object to its use for support and service operation. You may also request restriction or portability where applicable. You can raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. Requests about files or accounts held by a separate cloud provider should be made to that provider.

Changes to this policy

This page will be updated if DuoEdit’s privacy practices change.
